“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate than when I fall asleep your eyes close.” – Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets
One of the greatest choices we make is who we love and who we marry. The curious aspect of this choice, is that it is made repeatedly, sometimes weekly, daily, hourly, yearly. It is a strong yet fragile relationship, that we must care for. In this conference and/ or course, we dive deep into one of the most gratifying and stressful relationships—a marriage. What elements keep marriages happy? Successful? Filled with love and acceptance? Communication, great sex, friendship, acceptance, vulnerability: all them and none of them on their own. Participants will leave having a map as to what they can do within their relationships to keep it safe and make it as strong as steel, and as intimate as a whisper in our ear.
